Based out of KC,USA Festa has been one of our biggest advocates playing the tune in clubs as well as on his weekly radio show on dubstep.fm Saturdays 9:00-11:00gmt. Big ups to all dubstepas playing this mashup worldwide!

"Kill Bill" on React.FM

Last week (9/2/07) the Orlando Dub Step tune titled "Kill Bill" by the Sound Chemists debuted on the Future Forces show on www.React.fm. After receiving such great hype with our previous mash-up, "Kill Bill", we decided to mash up again. This time we took the chill trip-hop sound of Portis Head and mashed it with the brutal basslines of dubstep. More specifically the brutal basslines of the Orlando Dub Step. We hope you love it! We put an especially heavy titanic kick and warbal bass that would surely rattle King Tubby's sound system.

We couldn't help it. We had to remix this tune from the Kill Bill soundtrack. Nancy Sinatra's voice is so beautiful. We're getting a lot of good feedback bout dis one! It was even featured on the Yesterday-Today Show last night on 91.5 FM WPRK here in Orlando. Don't be surprised if it ends up on the next mix by your favorite dubstep DJ.

"The Sky Pan Tune" by Orlando Dub Step is an elaboration on the C minor reggae vibe we had toyed with on "Newborn Rasta". Though this is an instrumental riddum now, we are probably gwan hook up a vocal re-work in the farward. So hold tight for that Sky Pan Tune bassline vocal pressure. Indeed.

Perhaps such pursuits are of an outlaw mentality, especially in a world that will lead you astray and into darkness by defalt. Though we just started this page, we are no strangers to bass-line dub or the dub step scene for that matter. Soon we'll be posting pic's and bio's of the band as well as some music and current events going on with our crew. I'll go ahead and tell you a little bit about us now, but we plan on posting a "get to know us" blog very soon. First of all, we are a dub step band. Yes that's right i said we are a dub step band. We might even be the first! (i could be wrong about that. if you know of any other let us know) Orlando Dub Step resides in orlando. The dub step scene here is very small , as a matter of fact we (the city of orlando) just had our first all dub step party last month. That's very exciting for us as dub step has only been played in the B rooms of the drum n bass events, and not to mention WERE A LIVE DUBSTEP BAND!! Well, that's all for now. Thanks for checking us out. Once this page is more established we plan on being much more interactive and personal with our transcontinental and international dubstep brethren. Perfect Peace.
